General

What is Altakamol?

Altakamol is a bilingual Arabic-English workflow automation platform. It lets organisations design, automate, and monitor business processes using a visual drag-and-drop designer and an AI assistant — without writing any code.

Who is it for?

Altakamol is built for businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions across the Arab world and beyond that need a bilingual workflow platform. Both technical designers and non-technical end users are supported.

Is training required?

No coding is required. Most users are productive within a day. We provide onboarding sessions, this help centre, and a dedicated bilingual support team.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. Contact us for a free demo and a trial environment tailored to your use case.

Arabic & bilingual support

Is the entire system available in Arabic?

Yes. Arabic is a first-class language in Altakamol — not a translation add-on. Every screen, form, notification, report, and error message is available in Arabic with a native right-to-left (RTL) layout. The Designer, Portal, and all admin pages switch fully between Arabic and English.

Does the RTL layout affect custom forms and workflows?

All form fields, labels, and workflow step descriptions support bilingual input. When a user switches to Arabic the form layout mirrors to RTL automatically. Workflow names and descriptions can be entered in both languages so they appear correctly to each user.

Can email notifications be sent in Arabic?

Yes. Notification templates support both languages. The system detects each recipient's language preference and sends the email in the appropriate language and direction.

Workflows

How many steps can a workflow have?

There is no hard limit on the number of steps per workflow. Complex government approval chains with 20+ steps are fully supported.

Can one workflow trigger another?

Yes. You can use an Automated Action step to start a sub-workflow, enabling complex multi-level processes.

What happens if an approver is unavailable?

You can configure deadline escalations and substitute approvers. If a task is overdue, the system can automatically reassign it to a backup user or notify a manager.

Deployment

Can Altakamol be deployed on-premise?

Yes. Altakamol supports on-premise deployment on Windows Server, making it suitable for government and enterprise environments with strict data residency requirements. Cloud and hybrid deployments are also available.

What are the server requirements?

Altakamol runs on .NET 8, SQL Server, and Windows Server 2019 or later. Contact us for a detailed infrastructure sizing guide for your expected user count and workflow volume.

Security

How is user access controlled?

Access is managed through a Groups and Permissions system. Administrators assign users to groups, and each group is granted access to specific workflows, pages, and admin functions. Every action is logged in a full audit trail.

Is data encrypted?

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. At-rest encryption depends on your server configuration. For on-premise deployments we recommend SQL Server Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).

Pricing

How is Altakamol priced?

Pricing is based on your organisation's size, number of users, and deployment model. We offer Starter, Business, and Enterprise tiers. Contact us for a quote tailored to your needs.

Are there per-workflow or per-instance charges?

No. All tiers include unlimited workflow executions and instances within your user licence. There are no hidden per-run fees.

Didn't find your answer?

Our team speaks Arabic and English. We typically respond within one business day.
